Dennis' parents died in car accident when he was 7 years old. He was raised by his grandmother in San Antonio , Texas . Dennis didn't begin playing the drums until he was 16 years old. His real love was baseball and he was scouted by the Detroit Tigers. However, injuries ended his dreams of playing pro baseball. He turned his focused to music and his education. Was a history major.
